Clema Bishop Davis

Clema Louise Bishop Davis, was born December 12, 1923 in Foster, Oklahoma. She graduated from Capitol Hill high school and took a lot Vo-Tech classes at OSU-OKC. Her hobbies included reading and learning new things. Her greatest achievements in life were her children and her proudest moment was when she married Louis. She attended the Northwest Christian Church. Clema was a member of Lucent Pioneers, NOW, Mobile Meals, and held various offices Northwest Christian and she was a part of the coordinating committee to start Rape Crisis Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wirt Raymond Bishop and Winnie Delores Bishop, and her husband Louis Dallas Davis. Along with her brothers, Raymond L. Bishop and spouse Bettie Bishop, William H. (Bill) Bishop and spouse Patricia Bishop, James E. Bishop, Royce G. Bishop; Son in law, Dr. John Brandt.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Rebecca L. Davis from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Louis (Butch) Davis and his spouse D’Anne Davis also from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She is also survived by her sister Julia M. Lampkin and many grandchildren, Heather Durbin and spouse Joel Durbin, Sean Davis and spouse Misty Davis, Colleen Schelb (honorary) and spouse Keith Schelb, great grandchildren Connor and Parker Durbin, Alexandria, Kimberly, and Kylie Davis, nieces, and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

The family would like to thank Linda James for her kindness and loving heart, and also thank the staff at Bellevue Health & Rehabilitation Center for all of their loving care.
