Robert Sadler Tuttle, of Colleyville, Texas, passed away on May 31, 2018 in Colleyville, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend, and Colleague. He was born May 5, 1945 in Des Moines, Iowa to Reis and Vera Tuttle. Bob earned his Chemical Engineering Degree from Iowa State University. Bob met his wife Billie at North East Oklahoma A&M in Miami in 1964. They were married June 1, 1968. He began his career at City Service Oil and Gas in Tulsa. In 1987, he joined Union Pacific Resources in Houston. In 1989, he relocated to Colleyville. Bob later began NewTech Consulting, and finally joined New Tech Global. Bob was active in Gas Processors Association and began and organized North Texas GPA’s Sporting Clay Shoot 25 years ago and later for the National GPA. Bob passionately gave his time tutoring and mentoring dozens of kids and adults in Chemistry, Algebra and Calculus. Bob and Billie have been active members in The ABC class at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents (Reis and Vera) and his brother Don) and he is survived by his wife, Billie Jeane Tuttle of 50 Years, Son David (Lisa) Tuttle, Daughter Debbie (Richard) Hogg, eight grandchildren: Lauren, Blake, and Lindsey Tuttle, Becca, Sarah, Michael, Erik and Kyle Hogg, Brother Jim (Marina) Tuttle, numerous nephews and nieces, and countless family and friends that knew him as Uncle Bob. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville.
