Josephine A. Kiestlinger, 92, of Bedford, died June 4, 2018 at the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center after a short illness. She was born in Manchester on April 6, 1926 the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Maciolek) Kiestlinger and was a lifelong resident of Bedford. She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester West High School Class of 1944.
She was employed as an administrative assistant at Public Service of New Hampshire with over 33 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked for her brother at Ray’s Country Store, a Bedford landmark. She was also the treasurer for many years for the Bedford Seniors. She will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
She was predeceased by her brother Raymond Kiestlinger and her sister-in-law Jennie Kiestlinger, both in January of this year.
Members of her family include her sister Gladys Morin of Bedford, her niece Paula Nieman of Weare, her nephew John Morin and his wife Amy of Bedford, grandnieces Sarah Nieman of Weare and Allison Morin of Bedford, grandnephews Keith Nieman of Weare and Paul Morin of Bedford, as well as several cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday June 12 from 10 to 11 am at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. orner of Beech St. in Manchester followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Josephine’s name be made to Bedford Fire & Rescue 55 Constitution Dr. Bedford, NH 03110.
