Marvin J. Carter of Binghamton, 93, passed away on June 7, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice and 6 sisters and 7 brothers in law. Marvin is survived by his sons Dennis and Michael his sister, Doris Camp, a special granddaughter Kristina Wilcox and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marvin was a US Army Veteran and while serving was on the Army Baseball Team as a 3rd baseman and lead off hitter. In high school he exceled at many sports, turned out to be a great coach later. He was a retiree from Loblaws Grocery after many years as a meat cutter, an exceptional hard worker. He was a complete die hard Yankee fan and a Giants fan also Sam Huff was his favorite athlete of all time. Marvin also loved the Big Band sounds, most of all the Glen Miller Orchestra. Funeral Services will be held privately he will be laid to rest in the Port Crane Cemetery. Marvin’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Absolut Care of Endicott particularly the staff of the 1st and 3rd floors.
