Anorine Marie Henry Dowler Hebert passed away peacefully on June 9, 2018 at the age of 92. Anorine was born on August 21, 1925 in White Castle Louisiana. Her family move to Jefferson Parish where they lived in Gretna, Westwego and Marrero at various times. Marrero was her long time residence. More recently she shared her time with her loving children between Plaucheville LA and Houston TX. Anorine was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Immaculata Council 4222 Ladies Auxillary and CODIFIL. She was a long time employee of Gulf Oil Corporation and later retired from Chevron Gulf. She also worked many years at the Ave Maria Retreat house in Lafitte LA and the Immaculate Conception Church Rectory in Marrero. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Ernestine Henry of Marrero LA, her first husband Bernard N. Dowler, her loving husband of over 50 years James P. Hebert, her son Bernard N. Dowler, Jr. and her 6 siblings. She is survived by her daughter Berneda Broussard (James) of Plaucheville, LA, son John Hebert (Kelly) of Houston TX, and her grandchildren Amy Bell (Luke) of Plano TX, Luke Hebert, Remy Hebert, and Reese Hebert, all of Houston TX. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Gates of Heaven Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
