Frances K. Montgomery, age 78, of Strawberry, Arizona passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born to the late Russell Roy Horn and Virginia Eileen Brown Horn on April 06, 1940.
Frances is predeceased by her parents, her sister Phyllis Pankhurst, her two brothers Richard Horn and Harry Horn, her grandson Stephen J. White, her daughter Donna Kay Montgomery, and her beloved late husband Joseph W. Montgomery.
Frances worked as a United States postal contractor for 30 years,
Her hobbies, well every woman’s dream, the love of shopping. We would call her a personal fashionista picking up fantastic finds. Her wardrobe and shoes took up a whole wall confronted by stalls and racks of clothing with a bulging mass of chiffon, silk and conservative suits. Don’t stop there the more dazzling the better as she wore jewelry with every outfit from pearls and diamonds to the best of costume fashion that complimented every garment. Wait, we can’t stop at the clothing department. Her eyeglasses were just as fashionable, a dazzling fun accessory that she rocked with her sophisticated glittery rhinestone’s that always caught a great conversation.
Frances is survived by her three daughters Debra k. Montgomery, Diana M. Wacker and Joann W. Montgomery, her sisters Patricia Laroe of Urbana Illinois, Carolyn Jones, of Philo, Illinois and Pamela Diorio of Champaign, Illinois along with Nieces and Nephews , 10 grandchildren Timothy West, Barry West, Stephanie Johnson, Amberly Moskop, Joseph Collmeyer, Rachel Cotner , Benjamin Wacker, Larry Giblin, Nathan Giblin and their families along with 17 great-grandchildren
