Marilyn was born February 21st, 1936 in Edna Texas, she was the daughter of Minnie and Chester Ray Roberts both of whom are now deceased.
She graduated from South West Texas State with a degree in home economics after which she worked for Houston Light and Power. She then married Minor Crager and moved to Baltimore Maryland where she attended the culinary institute, Lecole, and became a chef. She specialized in catering and was the creative force responsible for many lavish events.
After her retirement, Marilyn moved back to Austin Texas. She was an avid bridge player and played with many bridge groups around Austin for many years. She will be greatly missed by all of her bridge friends.
Survivors: She is survived by her younger brother Jimmy Ray Roberts of North Carolina and her older sister Mildred Wolvin of California. Also her neice Elizabeth Brown of Houston Texas and her nephew Rick Wolvin of California. Finally, she is survived by her husband Minor Crager of Austin Texas and her two children, Cecile Crager of Austin Texas and Ray Crager of Dallas Texas.

There will be a memorial service on July 7th, 2018 at noon at the Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills on Anderson Mill Road to celebrate and remember Marilyn.
