Bruce was born in the year 1937 in Salisbury N.C. to the late Henry and Pearline Marlowe. He was one of 2 children.
Bruce proudly served his country for 6 years in the United Stated Air Force where he was honorably discharged.
In 1956, he married the late Alice Marlowe but divorced many years later.
Bruce retired from Delta Airlines where he was an Uninterruptible Power Systems Specialist and Locksmith at the time of retirement.
At the time of Bruce Marlowe's passing, he resided in Forsyth, Ga. with his girlfriend of 17 years, Frankie Chance.
Bruce was a man of many talents and full of wisdom. He instilled life lessons on you without you knowing you were being taught. Bruce was a very hardworking man and believed that everything you have in life should be earned and not given. You get out of life what you put into life. He was always willing to be a helping hand to others or offer up words of wisdom when needed. He loved his late brother Jerry Marlowe, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren so deeply and the pure joy and love always showed on his face when they were around. Bruce was also a man of God that put all his faith and trusts in Him. He prayed every morning and night for his family and friends.
Bruce is survived by 3 out of his 5 children; Bryant S. Marlowe of Jonesboro, GA, Kim R. Marlowe of Jonesboro, GA and Candace D. Overstreet; 7-grandchildren and 8-great grandchildren.
