Betty Ann Stemler was born March 19, 1942 and passed away on June 24, 2018. Betty was the strongest, most amazing woman. As a young girl of 17, she met and married Don Teague, which produced four children. Don and Betty divorced in 1978. After Betty was hit by a truck, she and her three sons moved to Florida, at which time she met and married John Hamilton. A year later they divorced. Betty met and married Kyle Sells and they were married until his death.
After Kyle’s death, Betty went to work for the school district as an Assistant for special needs children, upon which time she met and married Ed Stemler. Betty and Ed had many wonderful years together. Betty and Ed were still married at the time of his death.
Then some years later, Betty reconnected with an old friend, Ellis Wright. Betty and Ellis were partners for 14 years. Betty and Ellis were still together upon her death.
Betty is survived by her life partner, Ellis Wright, daughter and husband Teresa and Mike Sweeney, son and wife Jim and Patti Teague, son Mike Teague, her sisters Ethel Wood and Hazel Holland, and her little dog Schatzi. Many grand kids, great grand kids, and great great grand kids, plus many step kids as well, were blessings in Betty’s life.
Betty loved bowling with all of her lady friends. Betty was proud of all the trophies and medals she received from bowling, and she was not bashful about showing them off.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Mami Turner, her youngest son Rex Teague whom she missed dearly, and her two brothers Odi and John Turner.
