Anesta was born in Trinidad, West Indies, in 1932 to parents Maude and St.Croix Alexander.
She departed this life on June 23, 2018. In a family of fourteen, she was the fourth. As a part-time seamstress, she devoted her time in several occupations, with nursing on her mind a career goal. However, she travelled to the USA in the year 1970, where she was employed with the AT&T Telephone Company as a telephone operator. She retired after 22 years of service.
Anesta is survived by her son Cleveland and his wife Saron and grand-daughter Kelley Rae Mock; Hensley, Clervana, Francis, Albert, Albertha, Henry, Anna, Reuben and Eunice, together with many nieces and nephews.
She was a joy and a blessing to everyone with whom she came in contact, and has left us with a lifetime of beautiful memories.
