Beverly (Whitaker) Zajicek, 78 of Granger, TX earned her angel wings on June 27, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a long battle of Alzheimer/dementia and cancer. Beverly was born on July 27, 1939 in Seguin, TX.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joe J. Zajicek Sr. Three sons; Ricky Cooper and wife Debbie of Lewisville, TX, Bobby Cooper and wife Jean Ann of McKinney, TX. Joe J. Zajicek Jr. and wife Cindy of Cedar Park, TX. Three daughters; Diana (Cooper) Burkhardt and boyfriend Lawrence of League City, TX., Shari (Cooper) Holly of Jarrell, TX, and Tami Jo (Zajicek) Urbanek of Granger, TX. One brother Stevie Dusek and wife Vicky of Cedar Creek, TX. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many adopted loved ones, whom she loved very much.
She retired from Georgetown Hospital after 26 years as an Administrative Supervisor of the Emergency Department.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Elizabeth (Caddell) Dusek, mother in law; Sybil (Zurovetz) Mitchell, father in laws; Joe P. Zajicek, and Mitch Mitchell, daughter; Jean Ann (Zajicek) Falkenburg, son in laws; Mike Holly, and Andy Urbanek, two brothers; Curly Roy Whitaker, and Harry Jackson Whitaker.
A visitation will be Friday, June 29, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, TX. Services will be Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10am at Condra Funeral Home Chapel . Burial following at Macedonia Cemetery in Granger, Texas.
