Francisco was born in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico to Luis Rodriguez and Margarita Garcia. He married Dolores Rivero Vera on September 17, 1970 and celebrated 47 years together. They had five children together. Francisco was a man of many talents and helped everyone without hesitation. How to summarize a man’s life when he was such an enigma is impossible. His grandchildren knew him as dad and grandpa.
Francisco went out with a smile and peacefully, a description of what he wanted to leave as a reminder to smile even when the sky is gray. He was a man that was nonstop until the very end. He was a father, husband and, last of all, a grandfather who not only taught his kids but also his grandkids the same strong ideals and traits. After 69 years of building a foundation that he will never see finished, he left a unique image of what a man should be.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Rodriguez along with his five children Francisco Rodriguez Jr., Lazaro Rodriguez Ruth Gonzalez, Abel Rodriguez and Vanessa Walker along with an immense amount of grandchildren.
Francisco is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Simon Barragan Rodriguez.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons- Lazaro F. Rodriguez, Jason Rodriguez, Jeremiah Gonzalez, Abel Rodriguez Jr., Isaiah Rodriguez and Lazaro Rodriguez Jr.
