Cornelia Nadine Eller, 87, passed away on June 29, 2018 in Traverse City, with her beloved daughter and only child, Wendy Eller Becker at her side. Nadine was the loving wife of the late Wilfred "Bill" Eller for 52 years. Born on her grandmother's farm in Lawrence County, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Daniel E. and Maude E. Rogers.
Nadine received a bachelor's in Education from Central Michigan University along with significant work toward her master's, and was an elementary school teacher for more than 20 years. She was an active member of the Grand Blanc community, and a 50 year member of the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church. Grand Blanc United Methodist Church was a huge part of her life; she served as president of the United Methodist Women's group, and chaired/served on multiple committees. Nadine loved news and politics, books, playing bridge, gardening, attending music and theatre performances, and most of all - spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy E. Becker; son-in-law, Mark P. Becker; granddaughter, Megan L. Becker; grandson, Tyler P. Becker; as well as her beloved extended family members including nieces, Madelyn Rabe, Linda McNamar, Laura (James) Fiedler; and nephew, Daniel (Karen) Rogers, and their families.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, July 13, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 14, at 11 a.m., at the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, 515 Bush Ave., Grand Blanc, MI 48439 with a luncheon immediately following.
