Francine Ellen (Denbow) Butler, 76, beloved wife; devoted mother and grandmother; and good friend, peacefully surrounded by family went to be with the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Monday, July 2, 2018 after a battle with cancer.
She was a native Texan born in McAllen, Texas on January 8, 1942. She graduated from high school in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Class of 1960.
She was preceded in rest by her parents Jack and Edythe Russell. Francine is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Phillip Ragene Butler of Spring, Texas; eldest son, Mark Butler and wife Trena of Spring, Texas; daughter, Deborah Butler Rothhammer and husband Bill of Spring, Texas; youngest son, Michael Butler and wife Kelly of Argyle, Texas; her sister, Junie Jones and husband Jim; her precious grandchildren Hayden Schramme and wife Jordan, Camryn Butler, and Brock Butler, her step-grandchildren Bryce and Grant Rothhammer and Brantley and Jordan Farris, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She retired from Spring ISD in 2000 and enjoyed her retired years traveling, spending time with family; serving the Lord as an active member/greeter of Spring Baptist Church, volunteer at S.A.M.’s Ministries, active member of AARP, and serving and delivering meals to seniors in her community.
Francine with her loving spirit, sparkly blue eyes, and warm laugh will be missed dearly, but the memories and lives she touched will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2018, 3pm-6pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery. A funeral service will be held at 10am, Monday, July 9, 2018, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
