Faustino was born in Yorktown, Texas on December 5, 1941 to Felipe and Estella Perez. When Faustino was 19 years old he met his loving wife of 59 years Teodora in Mathis, Texas whom were inseparable and a prime example of what true love should really look like. Faustino and Teodora shared together 5 children and 2 step children. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Throughout Faustino’s life he worked as a furniture maker at Ker Bann Furniture Company where he worked for 17 years and was very passionate about his job and a complete hard worker. After he retired he was a vendor on the weekends at various Flea Markets. He and his wife Teodora enjoyed bingo during the week. He also greatly enjoyed gardening and fishing, he was gifted with a green thumb as he could grow just about anything without even having to try; for example he grew fig trees and hot pepper plants.
Faustino is predeceased by his father and mother (Felipe and Estella) along with his 5 siblings (Juanita Flores, Maggie Hernandez, Alicia Garcia, Sally Yañez and Felipe Perez). He is survived by his loving wife Teodora, his children Ruben Perez, Ramiro (Ray) Perez, Connie Perez, Jessie Perez, and Faustino (Tino) Perez Jr. along with his step-sons Tony Gomez and Amador Gomez; his brothers Obaldo Perez of Granger, Texas, Panco Perez of Jonah, Texas, Jimmy Perez of Sharp, Texas and sister Sarah Deleon of Tahoka, Texas and grandchildren. Faustino will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Visitation celebrating Faustino will be held at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home Friday July 6, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services to take place the following day, Saturday July 7, 2018 at 4:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. A Graveside Service will follow at 5:30 PM at Weir Cemetery.
The family would like to make a special thanks to all those that have helped them through this difficult time, especially the doctors, nurses and staff of DaVita Dialysis whom were very caring towards Faustino and the family.
