HINKLE, Akiko Takayanagi, 87, of Lutz, FL, passed away July 4, 2018. Born on October 11, 1930 in Tokyo, Japan, she was a retired seamstress. "Obachan" as she was affectionately called by her family and her pride and joy grandchildren; will be remembered as an incredible seamstress that could create beautiful clothing that would turn heads ! Her cooking of Japanese foods was her passion and everyone who ever had the privilege to have eaten her delicacies would all agree. Obachan was predeceased by her husband Charles J. Hinkle, parents Mitsu & Yasaburo Takeuchi, sisters Masuko Kamio and Tomiko Suzuki, brothers Teiichi Takeuchi and Hisayasu Takeuchi and is survived by her daughter Christine Romer (John), grandson A. J. Romer and granddaughter Marina Romer. Obachan is dearly loved and will be missed by her loved ones who are at peace because she is "whole again."
