He was born May 21, 1927, in Atwater, Ohio, to parents Russell L. and Florence E. Miller. Bob was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during WWII.
Bob worked as a machinist after the war until he opened Bob’s Pizza on March 4, 1971, a Randolph establishment that continues today. Bob created many lifelong friendships through the pizza shop. He also enjoyed fishing, woodworking, scuba diving, and riding his Gator.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years Mary Irene Miller on July 20, 2013. He was also preceded by his parents, his son Robert Miller, brothers Lee and Bill Miller, and his granddaughter 1st Lt. Ashley I. White.
Bob is survived by his children: Deborah (Robert) White, Brad (Lisa) Miller, Mary (Jeff) Hawk, and daughter-in-law Vickie Miller. Left also to cherish his memory are his grandchildren: Trisha (Shane) Baxter, Neil (Colette) Miller, Josh (Kate) White, Brittany (Sam) Knappenberger, Erik & Nicole Miller, Anna & Lewis Massey, Rachel (Sean) Jones, Kyle Hawk and his great-grandchildren: Evelyn & Josephine White, Selene Miller, Amelia Jones, Lilly and Gwendolen Baxter.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM with a memorial service following at 3:00 PM at the Chapel in Marlboro, 8700 Edison St NE, Louisville, OH 44641.
