Colorado of respiratory failure. Theodore was born on September 16, 1934 in
Pittsburg Kansas to Harry and Lucy Condos. Theodore's father was a Greek
immigrant and Theodore's maternal grandparents immigrated from Italy.
Growing up he participated in Boy Scouts and sports such as baseball, and
boxing. He also served as an acolyte for the Catholic Church. Theodore was a
hard worker growing up working at the Jones Store and helping his Father at the
Colonial Hat Works and Shoe Shine Parlor in Pittsburg, Kansas.
He graduated from St. Mary's High school in 1952, and Kansas State Teachers
College in 1956 with a BS in Education. Theodore taught high school in Missouri
for a year before being called up by the Army in 1957. When he finished his active
duty training he started working as an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life. His
career with Metropolitan Life Insurance would span 40 years, rising from
salesman, to field training consultant to District Manager. His dedication to his
clients and his colleagues gained him many sales awards and accolades through
the years.
He married Mary Nadine Howard in 1958 in Fredonia, Kansas. The couple moved
to Colorado in 1964 and lived in the communities of Sterling, Boulder, Fort Collins,
Broomfield and Cheyenne, Wyoming. The couple lived for over 40 years in Fort
Collins, Colorado.
Theodore was an active member of St Luke's Episcopal Church. He enjoyed
camping and fishing and was a faithful fan of the Denver Broncos and the
Colorado Rockies. He enjoyed travels to Alaska and Hawaii as well cruises to
Mexico, Turkey and Greece.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nadine in 2015. He is survived by his
daughters, Cathy Oly of Colorado Springs, Debbie Gray of Littleton, Theresa
Averill of Chandler, Arizona and son Christopher Condos of Woodland Park. His
grandchildren are Jayme Jerdee of Gilbert Arizona, Alex Averill of Gilbert Arizona,
Maxwell Averill of Chandler Arizona, Emily Gray of Grand Junction and Mason
Gray of Littleton. Theodore had 2 great grandchildren, Jaydon and Jocelyn Nadine
Jerdee.
Funeral services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Fort Collins,
Colorado at 3pm August 3rd. Internment will be August 4, 2018 at 11 :30 at
Grandview Cemetery.
