Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
Wanda Jones known by family and friends as “Bubba” died on July 16, 2018 at her residence in Iuka. She was born in Florida on October 5, 1967. She was a 1985 graduate of Kossuth High School and a member of The Station Church. She was formerly employed as a unit secretary at Magnolia Regional Hospital and was a pediatric assistant for Dr. Hans Pediatric Clinic. She loved embroidery, reading books authored by Daniel Steele, John Grisham, and Steven King, was a fan of WWE and a diehard Pittsburg Steelers fan. But what she loved more than anything was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Jones (Kevin Strickland) of Iuka, Ashley Jones (William Thomas) of Corinth; grandchildren, Gemini Strickland and baby Liam Thomas; sister, Beatrice Allen (Jeff) of Corinth; step-brothers, Johnny Hutcheson, Gary Hutcheson of Clermont, FL, Danny Hutcheson of Tampa, FL; step-sister, Teresa Hutcheson of Amarillo, TX; Nephews, William Hutcheson (Krystle) and his children, Katelyn, Joshua, and Gabriel, Phillip Hutcheson (Paige) and their son P.J., niece, Nicole Allen and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, E.W. and Wanda Hutcheson.
Bro. Seth Kennedy will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be Danny Crum, Will Winchester, Manny Machado, William Thomas, Phillip Hutcheson, and William Hutcheson.
