Dennis James Tefft

Dennis James Tefft, 66, of Fowlerville, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, after an almost six year battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Byron High School. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing, watching and playing sports. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Dennis was kind, loving, and full of humor. His family will miss his friendship, and his laughter. He was well loved, and his company was appreciated by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Clyde and Dorothy Mae (Haskins) Tefft, sister, Barbara Barnes, and brother, Forrest Clinton Tefft.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Sherrie (Ray Sweet) Lucas; children, Mandy (Marc Shinn) Tefft, and former son-in-law Matthew Blauer, and Josh (Lesley) Tefft; grandchildren, Calvin, Lucas, and Blake Tefft, Claire and Jackson Blauer, and Noelle, Marco, Stella, and Karrena Shinn; sisters, Donna (Walter) Wooden, and Darlene (Ed) Adkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family to hold private Celebration of Life at their home.
