Sharron Brown Williams was welcomed into the kingdom of God on Sunday, July 29, 2018. She is survived by her daughter Deborah “Debi” Brock and her son in-law Keith Brock, her son Gary Williams and her daughter in-law Alice Williams, two grandchildren, Evan and Shannon Williams, a wonderful extended family, and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Bessie Brown, four siblings, and her husband of 41 years, Fletcher Randall “Ranny” Williams.
Sharron was a lifelong Tallahassee resident born on June 16, 1940. She was a founding member of Tallahassee Heights United Methodist Church, where she worshipped the Lord and served in many different capacities. Her favorites were singing in the choir, teaching children's Sunday School, and assisting in the kitchen.
Sharron was a 1958 graduate of Leon High School and had retired from Capital Insurance Agency after a distinguished 30 year career where she created and managed the premium accounting department. An amazing wife and mother, a strong, determined, and compassionate woman, she will be missed by all who knew her.
The memorial service will take place at Tallahassee Heights United Methodist Church at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, with internment following at Culley’s Meadowwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice or Tallahassee Heights United Methodist Church.
