93, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2018 after a brief illness. Jack was born in Detroit in 1924. During WWII he joined the Army Air Corps. He became an aerial navigator and reconnaissance officer. He graduated from Lawrence Tech with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Most of his professional career was as an aircraft engineer. He was employed by Williams Research Corporation in Michigan and Pratt & Whitney in Florida from where he retired in 1991.
He is survived by his son Roger (Valerie); daughter Joanie Black (Jack); grandchildren Eric, Ryan and Brittany and great grandson Vincent. Also survived by his sister Mary, nephews Darwin, Mark and Jeff, nieces Linda, Janine and Tina and long time dear friend Eva Bilinski. He was preceded in death by his brother Jon (Eva).
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 7th from 6-8 pm, Howard Quattlebaum Funeral and Event Center, 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, Florida 33408, (561) 848-9641. Burial will be held at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth on Wednesday, August 8th at 11:15 am sharp, Lane 1.
