Lois T. (Silva) Pelletier, 81, of Nalcrest, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Winter Haven, Florida. She was born & raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts prior to moving to Florida in 2009.
Lois was a graduate of St. Joseph Elementary & New Bedford High School. She was a stay at home mom until working for Sacred Heart Nursing Home & Retiring from JC Penny after several years of service. She was very talented in knitting, sewing & ceramics, but most of all she was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters, Laura Medeiros & her husband Michael of New Bedford, MA & Michelle Medeiros & her husband Gary of Key West, FL. Two sons, Roger Pelletier & his wife Maria of Pemberton, NJ & Raymond & his fiance Nicole of Stuart, FL. Nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Barbara Silva of RI, three nephews, an Aunt, several cousins & many friends both in Massachusetts & Florida.
Lois was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Adrien D. Pelletier. Her parents, Joseph & Rose Alma (LaPointe) Silva. And brother Nelson J. Silva.
Everyone is invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4256 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA 02745, Friday, August 10, 2018 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA 03532 at 1:30 p.m.
