Age 87, passed away August 7, 2018 in Dallas, TX. He was born July 20, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Sr. Cruz Banuelos & Sra. Nicolasa Castaneda. Carmen was raised in Mexico and Dallas.
In 1961 he married Eulalia Suarez Banuelos. Carmen worked as a chef at Brookhollow Country Club for more than 30 years.
In his spare time he enjoyed family gatherings, carpenter work, watching novelas and baseball, visiting with his brother and wife. In his younger years, he enjoyed dancing, going to movies, vacationing in Mexico and weekend friend gatherings.
His family and friends will always remember him as a great husband, a great step-father, a great grandfather, a great brother and uncle, a great cook and carpenter, a generous man who always helped others in need. He always made the best Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners.
Carmen is preceded in death by his Brothers, Apolinar, Margarito & Jose Guadalupe. He is survived by Loving Wife, Eulalia Banuelos; Step-dauthers, Rosalee Rodriguez & Lupe Jimenez; Step-sons, Fred Garcia, Joe Garcia, Manuel Jimenez & George Jimenez; Brothers, Eugenio, Conrado & Cruz Banuelos Jr.; Sisters, Ignacia & Rita Banuelos.
Visitation will be held Sunday August 12, 2018 from 12:00PM till 6:00PM with a Rosary scheduled for 4:00PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Please join the family 10:30 AM Monday August 13, 2018 at St. Mary of Carmel Catholic Church 2900 Vilbig Rd. Dallas, TX 75212 for Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Calvary Hill Cemetery.
