Ed was a skilled carpenter who loved woodworking. If you could draw it, he could build it. He could throw a perfect castnet when mullet were running. He enjoyed time golfing with his brothers and sons; he appreciated being outdoors taking in God's creations; he ALWAYS relished a get together with good food and loving family. Ed drove a racecar at Five Flags Speedway, Father & Son team, and looked forward to camping with his family. He was a member of and attended (while he was able) the Church of Christ, Pensacola Blvd.
Known as Daniel for most of his life, and to his family, he had an extensive work history in Pensacola. He worked for Greenhut Construction for many years, on Sacred Heart Hospital's 9th Ave. site and later the Women and Children's Center, as well as Baptist Hospital, J.C.Penney and other building sites. He was instrumental in the reconstruction of Rosie O' Grady's Inc.'s Phinneas Phogg's dance club. He worked building several businesses on South Palafox St. including Trader Johns and Pensacola Restaurant Supplies. After "retiring", Ed worked at J.D. Johnson, and last worked for The Montessori School of Pensacola.
