Born and raised in Danbury, Connecticut, Mr. Scribner was a current resident of Hernando, Florida.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Clarence Scribner and Rose Alibro Scribner and brother Robert Lawrence Scribner.
He is lovingly survived by his son, Dr. Dennis Ronald Scribner, Jr. and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Scribner of Paradise Valley, AZ.; a daughter, Lisa Ann Demetrius-Kvinge and son-in-law Walter Kvinge of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren: Jason, Dylan, Matthew, Ryan, Catherine and Juwon; his great grandson: Miles. His sister, Deborah Licari of Mount Dora, Florida and several nieces and a nephew also survive.
Prior to retirement and moving from Danbury, he was a member of St. Joseph’s Church; he worked for Ducci Electric and was a member of the I.B.E.W Local 488 celebrating 50 years of service.
Dennis enjoyed retirement in Florida and was an avid golfer. He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
Friends will be received from 5pm-8pm on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
