Vaughn D. Cvar, of Mentor, passed away on September 3, 2018. He was born in Cleveland on September 15, 1941 to the late Emil and Marjorie (Kuehl) Cvar.

He was a 1960 graduate of Collinwood High, joined the Army Reserves and later settled in Columbus working in Real Estate. He moved back to the Cleveland area in 1995 where he married his high school love, Nancy.

He enjoyed golfing, dancing, playing cards, the Indians and traveling to his favorite places in the Ft. Myers area.

Vaughn was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. We will miss his smiling face and great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Nancy, children Megan (fiancé Joe), Steven (Duke) Cvar, Donna Henderson (fiancé Richard), Dan (Staci) Lease and Patti Redd, 12 grandchildren, and brothers Duane (Delores), Glenn (Carol), Dale (Shelley).

Family will receive friends at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. on Saturday, September 8, 2018, 1-5 pm, where prayer services will be held at 2:00 pm.
