Charlie McDaniel

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathrine McDaniel.

Charlie is survived by his beloved wife, Lorri McDaniel; daughters, Terri Davis (Mack) and Jennifer Fisher (Jamie); son, Dustin Foley (Taryn); grandchildren, Clint Moody (Christy), Tyler Moody (Amie), Matthew Davis (Carly), Taylor Fisher, Kyson Richardson, Jesslyn Richardson, and Ava Fisher; great-grandchildren, Brinley Moody, Kenslie Moody, and Claire Moody; sisters-in-law, Faye Hubbard, Betty Davis (Wayne), and Paula Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He also leaves behind his precious dog, Harley.

Charlie will be most remembered by his love of Christ. He was an avid fisherman and used that to witness Jesus and salvation. He had a passion for sharing the Word to many and taught children's ministry for over 50 years! He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Friends and family members may attend a visitation on Friday, September 7, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, Northport, Ala. A graveside service will take place, officiated by Mr. Jerry Koster and Mr. Don Springer, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Grants Creek Baptist Church in Fosters, Ala.

Pallbearers will be Jim Steadman, James Colburn, Tony McDaniel, Jamie Taylor, Mark White and Bill Hibbert.
