He was born April 24, 1948 in Greeley, Colorado to Henry and Lillian Raehal Allan was the second oldest of eight children.
Allan’s father was in the Army and Air Force and they lived in England, Alaska, New Mexico and Colorado. Allan graduated from Greeley Central and enlisted in the Army. He was a helicopter mechanic in Vietnam from June 1969 to January 1972. He worked for Ideal Services Vending for 30 years.
He loved the Broncos, traveling and dogs. He also enjoyed playing Spider Solitaire and building ship models, especially the USS Constitution. He was his family’s favorite uncle.
Allan is survived by his wife of 39 years, daughter, Becky & son-in-law, David Segar and son, Bryan & daughter-in-law, Leslie, granddaughters, Bryanna Davis and Haylee & Aspyn Alberts; brothers, John & Joey Raehal, Jeff & Carolyn Raehal, Brian Raehal and Brad Raehal, sisters, Sheila & Tom Peck, Sandy & Steve Wadsworth and Sherry & Vance Koller and special cousins, Jerry & Vicki Raehal and Larry Raehal.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, uncle and aunt, Mike & Edith Raehal, niece, Julie Wadsworth and nephew, Scott Koller
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2018 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Avenue, Denver.
