Debby was born in West Palm Beach, FL, on October 20, 1946, a daughter of Charles Dudley “Dud” Martin and Jean Adair Temple. She was raised in Sudbury and graduated from Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School with the class of 1964. She went on to study business at Lycoming College, Garland Jr. College, Boston University--School of Communications, UMASS Amherst, and Fairfield University.
Many years ago, she resided in Framingham and worked as a Department Manager and Assistant Buyer at Jordan Marsh Company then went on to West Newton Savings Bank in West Newton where she worked as Assistant Treasurer/Branch Manager then Human Resources/Marketing Officer. Debby moved to Concord, NH, and worked for NH Federal Credit Union and later was a business partner of M & M Plumbing & Heating, Inc. She moved south to the Carolinas in 2001 and settled in Gastonia, NC. In 2004 she bought a house and moved to Rock Hill, SC. Debby was employed by Family Trust Federal Credit Union in Rock Hill, SC. In early 2012, Deb was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She moved back to New England to be closer to family and medical treatment.

Deb had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her cats, gardening, bird watching. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and NASCAR. Debby had many interests, including counted cross stitch, driving, motorcycles, letter writing, photography, visiting the beach.
