Miss. Phyllis Garrett, 71, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away on October 27, 2018. Phyllis was born on November 7, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia. Phyllis worked in varying positions at Northside Hospital Imaging Center, Alpharetta for over 20 years. She loved painting, drawing and visiting the beach with her sister, Tommie. She was very loving and a natural caregiver. Phyllis was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed by her many friends and her loving family. She leaves behind her sons, Adam Garrett and Travis Garrett; daughters, Judy Thompson and her husband Tom and Marie Kozekwa and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Haley, Christy, William, Jonathan and Travis; great-grandchildren, Carson, Jason, Eric and Ezra; brother, Jondale Reed; and sisters, Dana Sharp, Sandra Maloon, Sharron, Tommie Sue Richardson and Cindy Marcus. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Reed; mother, Colleen Head; and brother, Buddy Reed. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 6-8pm at Woodstock Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Phyllis’ life will be on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mountain View Park Cemetery, Marietta, Georgia. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please send a contribution to help pay for the final expenses for the funeral and burial.
