Angelo Pio Zanobelli, age 76, of Portland, Oregon passed away battling lymphoma on Thursday October 25, 2018.
Angelo was born May 3, 1942 in Portland, Oregon where he attended Whitaker Grade School and Madison High School. After high school Angelo joined the Army, during his time in the military he was stationed in four different states in the Single Corp division Radar Communications unit and was honorably discharged in 1970.
Farming was Angelo’s passion, he owned Angelo’s U-Pick between 33rd and Marine Dr. where he supported his community for many years, and he took pride in donating produce to local charities. Ever since Angelo was a little boy he loved working on cars, he made soap box derby cars to entertain his siblings and even made little ramps for them to drive over.
Angelo will be remembered as a family man, favorite uncle, and a giver. He was always there for his parents and family.

Survivors include brother Vincent Zanobelli (Bonnie); Sisters Theresa Dunham; Gloria Zanobelli; Nancy Fazio (Albert); Sally Fazzio (Don); brother Paul Zanobelli (Cynthia); and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held for Angelo at St. Charles Parish, 5310 NE 42nd Ave, Portland, OR Wednesday November, 7 at 11 am, viewing 10am, Rosary at 10:30am. Private interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Angelo's memory may be made to American Cancer Society.
