Clarence was man with a big heart and a big laugh who loved spending time with his family and friends. Those who knew him could always count on both his generosity and hospitality. He was the life of the party bringing joy and laughter to all he met. Never meeting a stranger Clarence made life-long friends wherever he went. He attended High School in China, TX and continued his education at Jarvis Christian College in Gladewater, TX where he met the love of his life and wife for over 49 years, Georgia. He and Georgia (Wilkerson) were united in holy matrimony on April 19, 1969. From this union, two daughters were born Monica and Jennise. He was also a grandfather and his greatest joy was bragging on his children and grandchildren. Clarence was a man with many trades and skills, but found his passion as an entrepreneur working for himself as General Contractor in a company he named Painting America. When not engaged in healthy debate with his friends he enjoyed fishing, preparing a good home cooked meal, taking road trips, or simply working around the house.
He quietly departed this life Monday, October 29, 2018 at The Woodlands Healthcare Center in The Woodlands, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father (Clarence "Chocko" Beverly Sr. July, 15, 2018). He will forever be cherished in the heart of his mother Geraldine, his wife Georgia, his brother Roy, his sister Linda, his daughters Monica (Eddie) and Jennise, 4 grandchildren Jordyn, Torrey, Ty, and Zaria, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.
