Beloved husband of the late Marion (nee Fuller) Goldfischer. Devoted father of David Goldfischer, Daniel Goldfischer (Sharlene) and the late Marc Goldfischer. Loving grandfather of Eric and Amy. Beloved brother of the late Murry Fischer and the late Sylvia Moldovan and cherished uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. A mathematics enthusiast and accomplished electrical engineer, he was devoted to his family and greatly enjoyed engaging in activities in the out-of-doors, global travel and stimulating conversations that challenged the intellect. He was a longtime member of the Sharei Tikvah congregation in Scarsdale, NY, where he enjoyed great friendship and the opportunity to share his Hebrew prowess and rhetorical thought. A native of the Lower East Side, he served in the army during WWII, graduating from Purdue University in 1948 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and then received a master's degree from Brooklyn Polytechnic before settling in New Rochelle to raise his family.
