Ladale “Dale” Brown Doty, age 80, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Monday, November 5, 2018. Mrs. Doty was the daughter of the late Marshall and Edna Brown. She is survived by her husband of over 49 years, Myron “Drew” Doty; sons, James Wayne “Jimmy” Barrett and his wife Nancy and William Marlin “Marty” Barrett; beloved granddaughter, Bailee Barrett; sisters, Pat Brenningmeyer and her husband Wilson, Sara Sartain and Rita Gail Hurley and her husband Henry. Graveside services to celebrate Mrs. Doty will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Father Ray Kasch officiating. Mrs. Doty was a member of St. Patrick’s Anglican Church and in her early work life she was a Veterinary Technician and then a Paralegal, working for the law firm of Mitchell & Mitchell in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. While her husband was in the United States Air Force, she was able to travel and see much of the world. Among her favorite places was any beach she could relax on. She also loved to garden, whether that be flowers or fruits and vegetables. Having a love of animals, she always had a pet dog or cats. But her greatest joy was loving on and caring for her family.
