MAMA Ultra
June 21, 1952 -
November 5, 2018
Beloved daughter of Irene Menendez of Colombia and James Liolios of Greece. Survived by, and Mother of, Russell Charles Faibisch and Charles Ashley Faibisch. Grandmother of Zoe Faibisch.
Former wife and soulmate of Russell Mark Faibisch.
Rosemary lived a long, full life accentuated by the unconditional love and bonds with her two sons. The kind of love and bond that every mother wishes for.
She was loving, kind, wise, an excellent cook and an avid animal lover with a huge heart filled with compassion. She was a tigress when it came to protecting her boys.
Simply to know her was to love her.
Born in New York City, her father James left home at an early age, leaving Rosemary and her mother, Irene, poor and having to fend for themselves. Determined to provide a better life, Irene took Rosemary at the age of twelve and relocated to Miami, Florida. They moved into a small apartment on top of the Historic S&S Diner in Downtown Miami, where the owner befriended them and would provide leftovers from the diner on many a night.
When Rosemary was fifteen years old she met the love her life, who later became the father of her two children. They were married when she was 25 years old in Las Vegas, Nevada, and, soon after, Russell and Charles were born at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach.
Together they raised a family, worked hard every day and “hustled” to eventually build a successful bail bonds business from the ground up.
Years later, and after encountering turbulent times, they separated and eventually divorced. For the next 31 years, however, they maintained a true friendship, creating a loving family unit for their sons. They created and preserved a family bond that every child of divorced parents would dream of.
Her sons eventually grew up to become successful entrepreneurs, each in their own right, creating a global brand and building a worldwide enterprise spanning six continents.
The success of her sons was a direct result of Rosemary’s love, compassion, generosity, wisdom and spiritual guidance. The confidence she instilled in them was the driving force that helped push them through some of their hardest times and darkest days.
That love and wisdom contributed to them later spawning a music festival that would be experienced and celebrated by millions of people around the world.
One of her lifelong dreams was realized when her daughter-in-law gave birth to Zoe in 2016. Every day since then and until her last day, she was filled with pure love, joy and the happiness of being a grandmother.
MAMA Ultra, your love of life and passion for your sons and granddaughter will always be remembered and cherished.
Rest in Peace and continue to guide our family as a guardian Angel in heaven.
You are loved eternally and will be thought of everyday.
Goodbye Mom.
Russell & Charlie
