Douglas Parker

Born in Ontario, Canada, Mr. Parker had previously lived in Stuart, FL before moving to Virginia to be with his family.

Mr. Parker was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served our country in World War II. He was also an electrician and had worked for New York Telephone, as well as At&T.

Mr. Parker was of Catholic faith, and was a member of the American Legion, the Buffalo Yacht Club, and the Telephone Pioneers.

He is survived by his daughter, Gale Libby of Norfolk, VA; sister, Donnalee Cook and her husband, Robert; his grandson, Matthew and his wife, Jessica; granddaughter, Christine and her significant other, Hilary; his great grandchildren, Joel and Leah Libby; niece, Carolyn and nephew, John, along with his special feline friend, Tee.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen.
