Beatrice Montalbano, age 78, of Bryan, Texas passed away on Thursday November 15, 2018. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 18th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Monday, November 19th at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bryan, with Reverend Joseph Varickamackal and Deacon Bill Scarmardo as celebrants. Burial will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park.
Bea was born September 15, 1940 in Navasota, the daughter of Mike and Rosa Lee Borski. She retired at the age of 51 after many years on the production line at Alenco. Bea loved working in the yard and gardening, she had a green thumb and a talent to make anything grow. She also loved to cook and bake; no one ever went hungry when visiting her home. Bea was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; having her grandchildren and great grandchildren around was one of the greatest joys in her life.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Pete in 2016. Survivors include her three children, Kathy Drosche, Benny Montalbano, Tommy Montalbano and his wife Ana; seven grandchildren, Jason Labani, Michelle Dyess, Krisitie Montalbano, Stephanie Cash, Candice Montalbano, Lauren Montalbano, Jamie Montalbano; nine great grandchildren, Treson Dyess, Avery Dyess, Sydney Labani, McKenzie Labani, Madelyn Montalbano, Caitlyn Pack, Chloe Cash, Sophie Cash, Anthony Ocampo; and a sister, Barbara Wilkerson.
