Nancy Lou Meerdo-Sullivan (Nan), 74, of Deerfield Beach, FL passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Broward Health North in Pompano Beach, FL. She was born October 24, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late William & Louise Ciskowski.
Nancy founded Nan's Hideaway in Deerfield Beach and operated her business for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Sullivan (Red). Children Joseph (Daisy) Amann, John (Linda) Amann, Toni (Tony) Gallagher, and Nanette Boni. Grandchildren Heather (Keith) McVey, Christopher Hilgers, Jr., Johnny (Amy) Amann, Alex Amann, Buzz Amann, Zach Amann, Ashley Boni, Cassie Pokora, Jake Amann, Blake Pokora and Dominic Boni and her great-granddaughter, Jillian McVey. She is also survived by her brothers, Alfred (Gloria) Ciskowski and Leonard (Candace) Ciskowski. She was preceded in death by her loving son, Christopher Hilgers, Sr.; her husband Robert Meerdo and her brothers Norman and Thomas Ciskowski.
A celebration of her life will take place at Uncle Kimmy’s (previously Nan’s Hideaway), 803 SE 8th St., Deerfield Beach, FL 33441 on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2pm.
A memorial service and burial will be held in Illinois on Saturday, December 29th 2018 starting at 12pm at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, 1185 Algonquin Rd, Palatine, Illinois.
A luncheon will follow starting at 2pm – 5pm at the Westwood Tavern 1385 N. Meacham Rd, Schaumburg, Illinois.
