Evelyn Irene Fagan graced the face of this earth for 94 years. Born December 15 , 1924, Evelyn passed peacefully on November 29, 2018. She is survived by her children, daughter Rebecca (Roy) and son Stephen (Allison), grand children, great grand children and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in her heavenly journey by husband David Sr. and sons, John Sr. and Dave Jr. (Nancy).
She was always present in her faith, with a great love and devotion to our Lord Jesus. She was a pillar in the church, wife, mother and a loyal friend. Always in her Bible, drawing comfort and wisdom from the scriptures, praying and looking for God to comfort, heal and prosper those around her. Evelyn was a renaissance woman, at home in the country or city. Whether it be in California, Colorado, Texas, Florida, or China Grove, she loved to travel and always enjoyed the adventure. She was always true to the fact that she had to leave this world a better place than she found it. A force of nature to contend with if there was something that needed to be done, she was a role model and inspiration for her kids. Her travels took her to many beautiful places but she would be the first to let you know that her first love was her home, family, and friends. Every one that knew her was impressed with her honesty and compassion. Not to mention that she was just so darn good looking. Beautiful inside and out..
Thanks to all of the friends and family who have gathered to celebrate a life well lived. Thanks to her Grandson John Jr. for your love and care in her last days.
We will miss her.
God Bless You All

Messages of love from some family members:
Grandma was a very poised, graceful, regal woman who loved to bless those around her with her delectable foods! She was the epitomy of home cooking that soothes the soul!! DDD
Grandma from the earliest time I can remember, your love for the Lord and things of God were evident in your life. You will truly be missed, you have traded your mourning for joy and are now dancing and rejoicing with the saints. Thank you for the example set before us. I love you, miss you, and will always keep my butterscotch candies and cloves nearby. XOXOXO DFG.
Roses are yellow and violets are blue. Although you are in heaven, we will deeply miss you! JFS
Evelyn was one of the finest ladies I have ever known...I am so saddened over losing her...one that was beautiful inside & out. JCB
When I was 15..a beautiful woman entered my life. She was gentle and kind and she was So very strong. I wanted to be just like her, but noone could be like our Evelyn Fagan. God only made one. Now He has taken His angel home. I love and miss you. LFB
I will always remember grandma's smile and her giggles when we had conversations. Love you grandma up in heaven with grandpa. AFF
Grandma was a hard worker and the family connection we all had when we were together was of love. Also, I know that every time they came to visit or vice versa, that first look and hug from her was always one of love and pride. Always commented on how I'd grown and how handsome I'd become. SAF
Grandma was always about the Lords work always listening to BBN and working on her Sunday school lesson so she would be ready to learn. Her every conversation was about Him or she would always end it in ways that would please Him. Grandma was my world. I miss her so much that that space will never be filled. Grandma I look forward to the day I see you again. JAF JR.
