Virginia Bennett age 95 was born May 7, 1923 in Toppenish, WA and passed away on November 30, 2018. She was born to Mary and Joseph Young.

Virginia attended Toppenish schools 1st-12th and graduated from Toppenish High School in 1942. She met Farley Bennett in high school and they were married April 9, 1945. They were married 67 years, Farley passed away on August 19, 2012.

Virginia worked at Skone & Connors, Del Monte and Evaporator, for about 16 years. Virginia enjoyed window-shopping and playing cards with her neighbors.

She is survived by her three children, Ron (Rose) Bennett, Gary (Karen) Bennett, and Laurie (Frank) Swindler, five granddaughters, and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Marylin Jean, two sisters, and one brother.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will held at Reservation Community Memorial Park in Wapato on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia’s name can be made to your favorite charity.
