Roger lived his life as a loving dad to Kaley and devoted partner to Charlene. He was a loyal son, brother, and uncle. He spent his life enjoying boating, spending time on the lake, time together with his family, fishing, the Carolina Panthers, NC State Wolfpack and the Atlanta Braves. He was a loyal employee of 30 years for Traveler's Insurance.
Roger is survived by Charlene Barron, daughter Kaley Elizabeth Bollinger, mother Elizabeth Cox Bollinger, brother Reid and his wife, Aubrie and nieces Abigail and Emily Bollinger. He is predeceded in death by his father Robert Howard Bollinger, his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Byron Cox and his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bollinger.
A funeral service will take place at 1pm on Thursday, December 6 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church located at 2817 Mt. Harmony Church Road in Matthews. The family will greet friends starting at 11:30am. Graveside service will immediately follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
