Donald Hasson Rosson, 80, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018. He was born on November 30, 1938 to the late Hasson and Freddie Elizabeth Rosson. He was retired from the United States Army and police work. He was an avid reader, loved to travel, loved to sing and play the guitar, his favorite singer, Merle Haggard. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was always ready with a good or not so good joke. His wife, Lana Faye Rosson, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at U.S. National Cemetery with Full Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his children, Donald Hasson Rosson, Jr. of Cedarville, AR, Stephanie Woodruff of Paris, AR and LaDonna Hamilton of Van Buren, AR; his brother, Larry Rosson of Kalama, WA, eight grandchildren, Cassandra Davis, Katy Lobertini, D.J. Rosson, Anthony Shawn Hamilton, Danielle Rosson, James Rosson, Jacob Hamilton and Trey Rosson; two step grandchildren, three great grandchildren, Joey Rosson, Dylan Lobertini and Owen Davis; nephew, Cary Rosson of Lompoc, CA; and niece, Kimberly Chenette of Vancouver, WA.
The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
