Marilyn E. Osborne, 73, of Manchester, died December 3, 2018 at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center after a short illness. She was born I n Franklin, NH on April 8, 1945 the daughter of Charles and Alvena (Fleury) Heman. She moved with her family to Manchester at a young age, was educated in the Queen City school system and was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School Class of 1965.
She was trained as a licensed nursing assistant (LNA) and worked at a number of agencies in Manchester among them New Hampshire Catholic Charities and St. Teresa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as well as working as a private duty nurse. Her healthcare skills were clearly shown in her caring heart. Her family was paramount in her life as she enjoyed getting together with family and friends and will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
She was predeceased by her brothers Stanley Heman and Rauland Heman and by her sister Althea Demars.
Members of her family include her son William Osborne III of Pembroke, her daughter Lisa Perkins of Manchester, her grandchildren Larry, Bonnie, Mandy, Mindy and Julie, her sister Carol Ducasse of Manchester and her brother Hollis Heman of Hastings, OK as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday December 10 from 4 to 7 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Funeral Service was celebrated on Tuesday December 11 at 1 pm in the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Danbury. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Marilyn’s name be made to the Manchester Animal Shelter 490 Dunbarton Rd. Manchester, NH 03102.
