Born in Plymouth on February 22, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Mary and Antone Monteiro. Mary Ann spent her career working as a Dietician. She also worked the counter at Emerson Cleaners and Spartan Cleaners.
In her spare time, Mary Ann enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was a member of the VFW.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her son, Benjamin Perry III and his wife Patricia of Hyannis; and her grandsons, Troy and Clyde Perry; as well as two great-grandsons, Clyde Perry Jr. and Benjamin Ryan Perry.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings Domingo, Augustine, John, Antone, Ann, Elizabeth, and Mercia.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 11th from 4-7 p.m. at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, Hyannis, with a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be held privately. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.doanebealames.com
