Camilla Lang passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, on December 21, 2018. She had lived in St. Joseph Living Center in Windham, CT for the past 6 years. Camilla was born on May 11, 1918, in Petersburg, Virginia. Her family moved to Stamford in the mid-1920s where she resided until 2010 when she moved to eastern Connecticut to be closer to her family. Camilla was an avid gardener who created beautiful rock gardens at her home. She was also extremely talented at sewing, knitting, crocheting and any creative craft that interested her. Camilla was an avid reader and was a regular visitor at the Ferguson Library Bookmobile or the Turn of River Library Branch. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Camilla was predeceased by her husband John Lang, two brothers Joseph and Stanley Kubovy and a son-in-law, Frank Colegrove. She is survived by her two daughters Judy Colegrove of Menomonee Falls, WI, Jamie Lang-Rodean and her husband Wesley, of Mansfield Center, CT, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were private.
