Jeffrey Keith Peterson, 48, of Prosper, TX passed from this life on to his eternal home December 25, 2018. He was born March 2, 1970 to Jimmy and Linda Pfeiffer Peterson. Jeff was the middle child; he grew up in Terrell, TX with his older sister Trisha and his younger sister Laura who was born when he was 16.
Jeff graduated from Terrell High School in 1988. He married Sarah Cole Peterson and together they had three children; Madison, Sullivan, and the light of his life Pfeiffer. He served as a Police Officer for 23 years and a Motor Officer for 11 years. Over the years Jeff gained a few nicknames including SWAT Princess, Just Add Water and Big Guy.
In his spare time he loved collecting guns, WWII figures and riding motorcycles. He loved being by the water especially sitting by a flowing stream. He really loved music! He would put on his headphones and pretend he was a rock star giving a performance. Some of his favorite sayings – “What are we doing?” “You’re walking or you’re riding” and “Blue suit 20 years”
He always wanted to have a good time. He never wanted to hurt anyone. You could be the richest or poorest person, it didn’t matter to Jeff. He talked to everyone. He truly was larger than life.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Peterson; father, Jimmy Peterson; and grandparents, YaYa and PaPou.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; children Madison, Sullivan, and Pfeiffer; his puppies Zoey and Winston; and numerous family and friends.
Jeffrey was loved while he was with us here on earth, and will be continued to be loved through time and all eternity.
