Dean was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of almost 60 years, Carolyn (Monroe) Roosa; and 4 children. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Dean loved to volunteer and help others out. Some of the organizations he enjoyed volunteering for were Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels. Dean was a member of the Williamston sports boosters, the Lions Club, and was an avid golfer.
A celebration of life will take place on January 12, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle Street, Williamston, MI 48895, with a one hour prior visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Rural Ingham Meals on Wheels, 415 E. Maple St., Mason, MI 48854 or Habitat for Humanity, 1941 Benjamin Dr., Lansing, MI 48906.
