Patricia G. McClure Salazar, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29th, at her home in Mission, Tx. She was born on June 10, 1943, in Arab, Alabama to Clarence Clayden McClure and Margaret Theresa Bailey McClure. She was a graduate of Edcouch-Elsa High School. Patricia was a passionate and giving woman that helped all she could in life. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her brother Dr. CH McClure and sister-in-law, Kathy McClure; daughter Elizabeth (Sissy) Lyssy and son-in-law Francis Lyssy of McCook; son Dan Broyles of McCook; son Chad Broyles of Novice; daughter Shana Mettlach and son-in-law Darrin Mettlach of Mission; son Jeremy Salazar and daughter-in-law Mandy Salazar of Odessa. Nine grandchildren: Brannon Lyssy, Chelsea Lyssy, Clayden Broyles, Justin Broyles, Cody Broyles, Kortney Mettlach, Zachary Mettlach, Addison Salazar, and Jace Salazar. Four great-grandchildren: Landon Broyles, Logan Broyles, Riley Lyssy, and Brayden Lyssy.
A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 2-5 p.m. at Del Angel Funeral Home in Weslaco (6705 N FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596), followed with a wake at Ciro's Restraunt at 5:30 PM.
