He was a graduate of Lansing Sexton High School, and a union carpenter for 40 years. He retired from Michigan State University in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marti. Surviving to cherish his memory are his son, Todd; daughters Tara (Jim) McFadden and Nicole (Michael) Davis; five grandchildren, Austin (Ngoc), Mario (Marisa), Molly, Amber and Autumn; three great grandchildren, Cameron, Lexus, and Gabriela; brothers; Biogio (Lavaun), and Anthony Tumminello.
A visitation will be held starting at 11:30 a.m., and short funeral service at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing.
